My Irritations, Aggravations and Inspirations

NaBloPoMo: March 13, 2010 “Rain Droppings”

March 13, 2010  “Rain Droppings”
Today was Saturday.  It rained nearly all day; I spent the whole thing in the Cedar Brook. Oh, the Cedar Brook is my trailer, or mobile home, or my favorite, it’s my “modular” home.  Yep, a sweet ’88 model and she’s mine, all mine…all 14 X 70 glorious feet of her with the Dream Kitchen and the Glamor Bath!  Me and her, we live here in the Trailer Park with all the other “modular” home owners.
I wonder if any of the other “Modular Moguls” are blogging today.  I guess I could go and ask, but the truth is, I don’t really know any of them.  I’ve lived right here since 1997 and I only know the names of two of my neighbors.  But, then again, Wallace, Betty and I are the senior tenants here in park; all the rest are Johnny-Come-Latelys.  I don’t feel too bad now…dang bunch of interlopers moving in here on me and Wallace and Betty!
Anyway, it rained all day today, I stayed inside and domesticated.  Had to be done, can’t live like a caveman…or can I?  I’m almost a hermit as it is and it’s just a hop skip and a jump on over to the Neanderthal side.  Heck, I could maybe even get a job for an online insurance company.  Do commercials showing me doing really cool stuff as a caveman….Oh, Yeah! Cha-Ching!
See what happens when it rains?  An idle mind…
The photo today is of me on my laptop as I work on this blog. A Caveman in the making…  Just Say’n

  1. The pounding of the hard rain makes one sleepy, doesn’t it?
