My Irritations, Aggravations and Inspirations

July 13, 2010 “One in a million?”

“One in a million?”

Did you say I’m…

One in a million?
What a wonderful feeling
to be
One in a million.
It sends my heart reeling,
Like walking on the ceiling…
I’m one in a million.

I’m that ONE
That outshines all the rest;
That ONE
That you consider the best,
As I stick out my chest…
I’m the ONE in a million.

My heart is happy…

Oh….?
I see.
Please forgive me,
I misunderstood.
No, No…it was my mistake.
I thought…but

I’m only one OF a million.

  1. This poem is very close to my heart…sometimes we all feel like we’re ONE of a million…and feels as if we’re drowning in a sea of life’s happenings..but the sun always will rise again in the morning. Beautiful poem Cowboy.

    • Red, this one is written for two particular Ones of the millions…in faith that they two will be One in a million.

  2. Lovely one, this!! 🙂
1 of a million to one… and 1 in a million to another!
That’s the way it usually tends to be (if not now, at least later)…

    Cheers!!!
And have a fah-byu-luss week ahead!

  6. LOL…I love the end…I try not to take people’s evaluation of me too seriously because when they snap, then you realize they were probably over excited when they made their first rating…it could be so heart breaking to realize you were one of a million as compared to one in a million that you first thought.
