My Irritations, Aggravations and Inspirations

Sunday 160 by Janessa

The Sunday 160 from Monkey Man

The breeze catches my nose and
leaves in twirl are dancing to
the rhythm of my heart
that’s overflowing with a moment
and a breath of life
that finally
is
Free!

  1. Beautiful, JL. The words here are dancing like those leaves. It’s very uplifting. The first image that came to my mind was of the moment Nelson Mandela took his first step out of 27 years of imprisonment and into freedom. I’m sure it’s not what you had in mind, but I bet that’s just how he felt.

Thanks for bringing this to us, Tracy.
