My Irritations, Aggravations and Inspirations

September 10, 2010 “minor fall”

“minor fall”

distant thunder rolls

o’er painted misty mountains

reds, golds, and yellows

dance in muted light

of kaleidoscope music

a symphonic dirge

tap-tapping on leaves

cacophonous crescendo

autumn rain falling

    • Thanks, Red…I tried to make it as real as I could for those of you that don’t get to experience Fall as I do. You should get to stand in the Smokies during the peak of Autumn after a rain, and just breathe in the heavy earth-scented, clean air, and hear the rain as it drips from leaf to leaf…an experience unto itself.

  9. Fall in TN! Sounds fabulous. Nice job, Tracy. CA goes from green to brown in summer. Much that is lovely, but often monochrome – so, I really enjoyed this. More like an NY fall …Thanks!

It’s a different kind of love affair, isn’t it?

    Happy weekend…
