My Irritations, Aggravations and Inspirations

October 20, 2010 “all by myself”

For One Shot Wednesday

“all by myself”

everyday time spent

too much in a misty cloud

in a cool vapor

dreaming of oneness

a single face in a crowd

unable to fly

dying to stand out

to be worthy of my wings

dying to take flight

falling from the cloud

sweet hope eternally springs

I can learn to fly

alone from this cloud

into a far distant night

all by myself

  4. I thought this bit was awesome:

    “I can learn to fly

    alone from this cloud

    into a far distant night

    all by myself”

    Nice one.

  10. This is moving, Tracy. These words are brimming with feelings and experiences that I, like many others I’m sure, have gone through. Oneness seems so ridiculously unattainable to me at times. 🙂

  11. The desire and the imagery is almost dreamlike! So full of feeling….
    It’s almost spiritual actually!

The state of blissful existence… just what we need in this fast paced survival mode!
